NRCS Foundation Scholarship Application

NRCS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read all instructions carefully before submitting your application. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Step 1: Confirm Eligibility

Before applying, make sure you meet all of the following requirements:

✔️ You are a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in a college or university

✔️ You demonstrate good character and academic potential

✔️ You have financial need

✔️ You plan to continue your education

If you meet these requirements, continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

· Download and complete the NRCS Foundation Scholarship Application in full (nrcsfoundation.org)

· All sections must be completed clearly and legibly

· If a question does not apply to you, write “N/A”

📌 Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Step 3: Prepare Required Documents

Each application must include the following:

1️⃣ Completed Application Form

2️⃣ Official or Unofficial Transcript (high school or college)

3️⃣ Personal Essay

· Essay topic and length are listed on the application
Two Letters of Recommendation (if required)

· Follow the instructions on the application form

📌 Failure to include all required documents may disqualify your application.

Step 4: Review Your Application

Before submitting, double-check that:

✔️ All questions are answered

✔️ All required documents are included

✔️ Your name appears on all pages

✔️ The application is signed (if required)

Step 5: Submit Your Application

Submit your completed application and all required materials by the posted deadline.

Applications must be postmarked by April 6, 2026.

Late applications will not be accepted.

Step 6: Selection & Notification

· Applications are reviewed by the NRCS Foundation Scholarship Committee

· Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement

· Award recipients will be notified by mail or emaiL

📌 Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Annual Award Program to receive their scholarship.
